How will I know that my order went through?
All Algenist.com orders are confirmed via email with your order number and confirmation. To make sure you receive your order confirmation email, please add customerservice@algenist.com to your address book and/or check your spam folder in case the email is accidentally filtered as spam.
How will I know that my order shipped?
You will receive an email when your order leaves our facility. This email confirmation includes a tracking number and shipping provider so that you can track your order to your door. Which shipping carrier does Algenist.com use to ship orders?
We partner with UPS for order delivery. We offer UPS Ground as well as 2nd Day Air (must be ordered by 2:00pm ET for same day shipping. The UPS package guarantee does not apply when transportation networks are disrupted due to causes beyond UPS’s control.
Is international shipping available?
This website is intended for visitors from the United States, international shipping is not available at this time.
What do I need to know about shipping during the holidays?
Due to increased volume during the holiday season, service modifications will be in effect for some packages tentered through December27. During this time, a limited number of packages with certain origins and destinations may experience additional time in transit. Please also note that the UPS Service Guarantee is subject to suspension or modification during certain dates of the holiday season.
What is your return policy?
Your satisfaction is important to us. If you are not completely happy with your Algenist skincare products, you may return them within 30 days of your order date. If you received a free gift with your purchase, you must return the free gift in addition to the products purchased. You will receive a full refund on the cost of your purchase.

Afterpay is a great way to shop now and pay later. You can choose Afterpay in the checkout process and simply enter your credit card information. Your payment will be split into 4 equal payments which will charge every 2 weeks with zero interest and no fees when you pay on time.
Do rewards points expire?
Points are subject to expiration after 12 months of inactivity.
Can offers be combined?
Offers cannot be combined including rewards points, subscriptions, or discount codes. One offer or code per order.
What if I purchase on Amazon?
For Sales on the Amazon platform, the Algenist brand works hard to ensure that only authentic, high quality products reach consumers in the condition we intend. As such, for sales on the Amazon platform, the Algenist Beauty brand offers a 45 day Satisfaction Guarantee which will NOT be honored without provision of valid proof of purchase directly from the Fortress Brand Amazon storefront.

Do Algenist products contain fragrances?
We use a variety of fragrances to enhance the sensory experience of our Algenist collections, all at very low levels. Every product is thoroughly tested to ensure safety for consumer use. Based on customer feedback, our line includes both fragranced and fragrance-free options. For those with sensitivities or a preference to avoid fragrance, we recommend choosing our fragrance free products.
Does Algenist test on animals?
Algenist does not test on animals or ask others to do so on our behalf, except where required by law or regulation. We are committed to ethical practices throughout the entire product development process—from research and manufacturing to every step of the value chain—and carefully vet our ingredient suppliers to ensure they share our commitment to non-animal testing. Product safety and efficacy are evaluated using clinical, non-animal methods with volunteer human panels.

Authenticity, expiry or quality can only be guaranteed when purchased directly from Algenist.com or any of our authorized North American resellers: Amazon, BEAUTYSPACE, Bloomingdale’s, Dillard’s, Nordstrom, Ulta Beauty, and QVC. Algenist stands behind our products unconditionally when they are purchased from an authorized reseller. However, our warranty does not apply to products purchased from unauthorized resellers.
What is Diversion and what are the risks of purchasing diverted products.
Products sold by unauthorized retailers or sites are referred to as ‘diverted’ because they are products diverted from authorized sellers. Authentic Algenist products are sold only through approved retailers. Diverted products can be counterfeit, old or expired, diluted or filled with unknown substances. In short, they may not be safe to use. If you buy Algenist products from unauthorized resellers, we cannot guarantee that they will perform as advertised and tested. Contaminated or counterfeit products could also cause adverse reactions such as irritation or infection.
What is Algenist Doing to Fight Diversion?
Algenist monitors known channels of distribution and pursues legal action against diverters. We regularly monitor suspected diverters and use advanced tracking systems to trace diverted products back to their original source. You can help support our efforts to stop diversion by
