I got the Serum from QVC, in the Algenist Best of Anti-Aging 5-piece Starter Kit (Micropolish & Peel, Reconstructing Serum, Repairing Oil, Eye Renewal Balm and Ultimate Anti-Aging Cream). I am 58 years old but have very few wrinkles and my worst lines are on my forehead. I followed the instructions and used all five products one evening. The next morning when I looked at my skin I was amazed. My skin looked flawless, my pores were smaller, my skin was smoother than ever. It looked like brand new skin. My skin now looks more youthful, healthy and glowing. Over the years I have tried many skin care products but have never seen results as amazing as those from the Algenist products. Thanks Algenist for your extensive research and products.
My Favorite Product EVER!
I have been using this product since it first came on the market. I honestly noticed results within the first three days! Lines were softened immediately. My skin is firmer and smoother. I will never be without this serum. Hugs! Your Biggest Fan
Best product ever. Used for Only the first two weeks and had so many compliments. Worth ever penny. Customer forever
If it works, which it does, look at the price as it's worth it!and will save you from having to get Botox or fillers, which are way more than $95,for about 3-4 months of use! They aren't going to lower the price ,and it's compatible to other high end products,so useless to complain! You get what you pay for! It's done wonders for me. And it's an investment well worth it!
way too expensive!
Good product but way over priced when there are so many other brands out there that will do the job. Wish the price was lower and until then I will be purchasing another brand. I would not recommend due to price/value. $95 is WAY too much in today's economy for such a small amount.
Effective for wrinkles and overall texture
I began using the Concentrated Reconstructing Serum a couple of years ago when Algenist first came to my attention in the press. At the time, I was about 40-41yrs and had combo to normal skin with light crows feet, some sunspots and deeper lines on either side of my mouth (blaming 20yrs of smoking...quit 5yrs ago). I was fortunate that I fell into the habit of wearing sunscreen at an early age, but some signs of aging had finally started to hit. I started out using this serum only around my eyes and mouth, because I was concerned about it causing oiliness or breakouts. I used my other serum elsewhere. In the winter, I used the serum all over my face, neck and chest because I was drier in winter. Because the serum absorbed so well and really didn't seem to create oiliness, I started using it all over and have had no problems whatsoever with breakouts, etc. It does improve skin texture, even including the appearance of pores on the nose. This serum is lightly moisturizing, but not greasy, and my skin became smoother and wrinkles improved (nothing external makes them "disappear"). It also has improved overall skin discolorations, like from old acne marks, and sunspots, for sure. In terms of cost, this serum is in line with other "high end" skin care brands like dept store brands versus drugstore brands. We all make decisions how to budget...if it's not in your budget, there are fine skincare products for every budget, just shop around. The serum goes a long way - just a few drops should cover your face, neck and chest, unless you're applying too much. It's a serum, so is not meant to be slathered on like a moisturizing cream. I estimate that the serum lasts me 3-4 months, using it once per day, in the morning. I use the Algenist retinol cream at night. In winter when I am drier, I use the firming & lifting cream as moisturizer before my sunscreen, but in the summer I only moisturize on cheeks and neck before sunscreen. I receive compliments on my skin and am very happy with the feel and effectiveness of the serum and other Algenist products. If I had to cut budget dramatically, the serum is the number one item I would save my pennies to keep using.
Have recently tried regerating restorative cream-love it. Want to try everything, & have a wish list. Can't afford all I want to try is the problem. With economy like it is my husband & I live on fixed income. Am in mid-fifties & have gotten 2 samples @ sephora to try/next will get sample of new oil/Fiming & Lifting/concentrated reconstructive serum & retinol Firming & lifting-so far I have loved anything I have tried-just wish it was cheaper. Had read about the discovery about 5 yrs. ago & couldn't wait for stuff to come out-now I'm convinced it works. I WANT IT ALL!!
I like but way too expensive to re-order.
Great Serum but too expensive
I absolutely loved the 10 day samples. Would not have known of you if not for that. The serum lwft my skin super smooth (normally very dry). I went online to order and was floored at the price. 1 oz. for $95.00 ?? One oz. is basically nothing. Seriously, when you get "Free Samples" with purchases, it is usually a 1oz. size. I'm still stunned that you don't offer a bigger size/amount, especially for that price.

Need Samples and Better Spokesperson
Based on the analysis, I was ready to order, but the price and lack of proof left me hobbled. The spokeswoman on QVC was a bit wrinkly and jowly. I'm not being catty, but this doubting Thomasina needs a before and after. Instead we have 2 very lined woman selling an expensive elixir. Show before and afters; lower the price and get feminine articulate spokeswomen. As of today, there is no proof positive pushing me to buy
