How To Use

I got a sample of this when I bought the Clarisonic in an effort to smooth my skin and clear my pores. For history I am 25 and for the past 10 years I have had a very bad, uncontrollable urge to pick at my skin when I see any sort of blemish or clogged pore - they just gross me out and I have to get the stuff out!!! I would not say that my skin is not acne prone but I do have many pores around the forehead, nose, and chin. I would say that it is more dry with a more oily nose and chin (I work in dentistry and have to wear a mask all day). I was using a moisturizer that had high concentrations of antiaging ingredients like vitamin C, hyaluronic acid, etc...but I felt like I was still struggling to keep my pores clear and my skins texture did not improve much. I have also used many different brands of retinol, but my skin gets very irritated with this ingredient. I stopped using the moisturizer ( it was not an Algenist moisturizer) and retinol, and started just using this serum, a primer, and then my makeup. When I wash my makeup off at the end of the day I usually dread what my skin will look like - discoloration, dry patches, large dirty pores - not a pretty sight. But to my amazement my pores have been getting smaller and the texture of my skin has amazingly improved. I am very fair so every scar shoes pink on my face, the scars have even become less apparent as well. I have worked for a popular skin care line sold at Nordstrom and have tried many products but I have not found something that worked this good on my skin. I wish I would have taken before and after pictures!! Thank you Algenist - You have made me a believe!!

I will be shocked if they post this as they check each review before posting. Although the product left my skin smooth, $95.00 for 1 ounce is too much money for your average woman in todays world. Lower your price and you would get more sales.

I tried the 10 day Free Sample. The product left my skin feeling very soft and smooth, which is hard to do as I have dryish skin. I would love to buy this, but $95.00 FOR 1 OUNCE ~~~~ No Way !!!!!
